Medical Conditions
Pre-existing medical problems are those conditions that are present before pregnancy. These can worsen with the onset of pregnancy or can complicate the pregnancy. For example, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, thyroid disorders, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, obesity, epilepsy, depression, immune disorders like HIV, SLE, MS etc.
