Located in the heart of Jalandhar, is the state’s premier healthcare facility, dedicated to the care of women and children.

Kamal  Hospital was established  in 1979 by Dr.Kamal Gupta  who recognized the need for a facility focussed on women’s health in all stages of life.

At Kamal Hospital, we provide personalized care to women of all ages whether young , adolescent in reproductive phase of life or in menopausal/ climatric phase. We understand that different age groups put different demands on women’s health and we cater to all these demands and diseases with utmost comparison and care.

We have a team of qualified and dedicated professionals who work together with the only aim of unparalleled excellence in providing women healthcare.

We are constantly striving to keep ourselves updated to the latest and most advanced treatment techniques and equipment.

We have a world class Gynecological laparoscopic surgery unit performing all major endoscopic/minimally Invasive surgeries on day care basis. Most of the patients are admitted and discharged on the same day and others on the next day of their laparoscopic surgery.

Gynecological Endoscopy/Keyhole surgery is a surgical field of expertise which uses optical instruments to diagnose and treat female disorders and pathologies without cutting open the abdomen. Three to four small holes are made to perform surgeries like hysterectomy (removal of the uterus),  Myomectomy (removal of fibroids), ovarian cystectomy (removal of ovarian cysts) Salpingectomy ( cutting of fallopian tubes), Laparoscopic vault fixation for prolapsed uterus, etc.

In addition, keyhole surgery is done to find out the causes of female infertility which when diagnosed and treated correctly yield success rates of >80 %. Further, we also perform endoscopic procedures like hysteroscopy (for treating problems inside the uterine cavity) and Colposcopy  ( for early detection of cervical cancer) with utmost expertise. Ovarian and uterine masses of large volumes which required major open surgeries earlier are now managed with ease using laparoscopy/endoscopy.
